What is NationSquid?
NationSquid covers a variety of topics, particularly pertaining to the genres of mystery, horror, world history, and technology. (with a sprinkle of science!) I really just enjoy creating videos about anything that I find interesting, and do the best that I can to make it interesting for my viewers as well. 

Background
Here is a little bit of information about me. I uploaded my very first YouTube video on January 24, 2009, and created my first official YouTube channel on March 13 of that same year. This was a separate channel of course, and it’s still out there. I still have full access to it, but you will never find out what it is. )

I have been creating content ever since, and loving every minute of it!

Fast forward to 2014, I decided to change things up a bit. I was developing an interest for particular online horror stories known as “CreepyPastas.” Inspired by other YouTube channels, I decided to create a new channel, start fresh, and make a compilation of some of my favorite CreepyPastas that I read online. It was very well received! This motivated me to create other similar videos along with some experimentation to see what exactly what my viewers and I liked, and the rest is history!

Since then, my channel has become more geared towards video essays and documentary style videos, covering the topics mentioned above. I hope you will come along with me on this exciting journey of learning new things!
